Santa Baby

I was in the mood for a little "Christmas in July" so I opened up a pack of the Crate Paper Holly kit and got to work. I used a frame from the kit around the photo which i edged with the vintage photo ink and then I used some of the SL stamps around it and used the fired brick ink for that. I used a few Crate rub ons for the corners and both Scenic Route and Heidi Swapp chipboard. Finished it off with some had journaling around the bottom corner to recall the date.

You and You and You

.
Conjunction Junction What's Your Function

This challenge reminded me of a little song I used to sing to the kids to make them giggle. "Mommy loves her babies, yes she loves her babies, mommy loves her babies, and that baby is you AND you AND you!" And I would tickle each one as I sang YOU.

You can click on the image to see a larger version.

For this layout I used Paperbilities cardstock and DaisyD's Chasing Butterflies paper. I covered chipboard flowers from Li'l Davis with the DaisyD paper to give them some dimension, layered over some periwinkle ribbon from Li'l Davis and topped with We R Memory Keeper phrases completed the bottom border of my focus photo. I had fun scattering the Foof A La Summer buttons all over the layout. My journaling and doodling are written with a Signo white pen. Thanks for looking!

The 2 of you look the same BUT you are,oh so, very different!

Did this one up for the conjunction challenge. I used the SU paper ripper to rip the picture and paper in half. This thing work great! The paper is from Foof a la. I used chipboard from Crate Paper and Scenic Route and the arrows are from American Crafts. The brads around the edge are from MM. I inked around the edges of the card stock with versamagic ink.

True Love

Did this with my favorite paper set (MME Tres Jolie). I inked all the edges with Ranger ink. The top chipboard is from Chatterbox. The & chipboard is from AC as well as the felt hearts. The big floral and smaller green one are both from HS as well as the big brad in the middle. Finished it off with some ribbon from Crate Paper and lace from Melissa Frances.

Business question here so please leave me some feedback. I really love the MME papers. So you think if I bought them and packaged them up myself they would get bought up?? I was thinking like 2 of each paper (12 each pkg) and the coordinating embellishments. This would be my preferred way to buy this anyway....I just don't want to carry loose papers. Let me know what you think! Thanks! Have a great weekend.

The Power of Three

.
Three is a Magic Number

Three most definitely is a magical number for me, considering I have three beautiful children! Tom Bodett said that a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this life: something to love, something to do, and something to hope for. My three precious children represent these things for me and I am truly happy.

I haven't done a double layout in quite a while so this was lots of fun for me! You can click on the image to see a larger version.

For this layout I used Paperbilities cardstock and DaisyD's Chasing Butterflies. Chipboard flowers from Li'l Davis prettified with Anita's Craft Paint, 7 Gypsies gem brads and Heidi Swapp XL brads decorate the bottom border along with Making Memories Kids Buttons and Metal Accents, and Foof A La Summer Buttons. I painted over some Stickopotamus letter stickers and hand cut letters for my title. Thanks for looking!

I also used 7 gypsies rub ons in the top right corner to add words among the branches of the flower.

Altered CD holder

My girls needed something to put their CD's in, so I came up with a cute, cheap solution. I cut an oatmeal container as shown, and used mod podge to adhere Daisy D's paper to it. I then used various embellishments to accent it!

Miranda Fairy

I used the Daisy D's Taylor Collection Paper and Cardstock Stickers. The black flourishes were freehanded.

My 3 Sons

Did this with the Tres Jolie "Bonjour" line of papers. I sepia toned all my pictures in PSE first so the clothes wouldn't clash with each other. I inked the the edges of all the papers with Ranger ink to give it a distressed look. Then I inked the sides with a stitch stamp from Sassafras Lass. I painted my bare BG chipboard, and distressed the Scenic Route block chips with the BG file set (LOVE LOVE THIS!!)

Then I traced a circle around my 3 and inserted HH brads around it to try and make it pop. Finished the project off with 3 rub ons from Crate Paper and inked those edges too. Topped off with a couple of felt AC flowers.

always

Frustrated Nick

My little guy getting himself upset because he couldn't ride his bike perfectly. As soon as the new 7 gypsies "Calais" kits showed up I knew I had to dig into them. Love these papers! Up top I used a maya road flower that looks like a sun which I painted yellow. I centered it with a 7 gypsies gem brad. The strips in the middle are also paper. I painted a Lil' Davis chipboard frame and then used a foof a la rub on and buttons in the bottom corner.

Delightful Memories

.
Unpack Your Adjectives

I had a "delightful" time, working on this "delightful" layout, chock full of "delightful" memories.

I used Paperbilities black and white cardstock for this layout, along with some yummy daisyd's chasing butterflies. Chipboard flowers from Li'l Davis and Fancy Pants came in handy to use as templates for cutting my flowers, and I used periwinkle ribbon from Li'l Davis and foof-a-la's buttons to finish them off. I doodled on some generic letter stickers I found at Target and used We R Memory Keeper phrases for my title. Thanks for looking!

Puppy Love

I used Daisy D's Salt Water Taffy line for this layout. Other products used: dymo labler, American Craft letter stickers, Heidi Swapp journaling spot & flower, and Pressed Petals chipboard heart.

Boys of Summer

More Prima papers with a little Daisy D's thown in! Also used Prima flowers, The Paper Studio chipboard letters, Making Memories brads and letter stickers.
